I was born in Delaware, Ohio on the winter solstice, the first night of Hanukkah, and the coldest day of the year 2000. I left the Midwest when I was four and was raised mostly in Massachusetts, with a lot of time in Vermont. I graduated from the University of Richmond in May 2024 with a B.A. in Visual & Media Arts Practice and Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. I was the recipient of the David C. Evans Award for Outstanding Artistic and Creative Work, as well as the Bobby Chandler Award and 2024 Permanent Collection Purchase from the University of Richmond Museums. My painting practice explores bodies, boundaries, and touch, representing relational subjectivities and the surges of sensation that occur when bodies come together. My printmaking practice is guided by playful material exploration and ecological attachments to place. My work as a childcare provider informs my art thematically and through collaborations with the children I care for.
